Nominations Being Accepted for CHIME and CHIME Foundation Boards

CHIME and the CHIME Foundation have opened nominations for seats on the CHIME Board of Trustees and the CHIME Foundation Board, respectively. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit nominations and supporting documentation by August 3 to be considered.

Here is what you need to know for the CHIME Board of Trustees:

  • Elected CHIME members will serve a three-year term beginning Jan. 1, 2019.
  • Candidates for election to the board must be a CHIME member for the past three years and have been active by participating in such events as CIO Forums, focus groups, committee work, surveys, etc. 
  • If you meet the above criteria and would like to be a candidate, please submit your nomination along with a brief biographical sketch and a brief statement explaining why you would like to serve on the board and what direction you envision for CHIME using this link on the CHIME website.

The CHIME Election Committee will review the submissions and determine the final pool of candidates to appear on the August 2018 CHIME Board ballot. For the CHIME Foundation Board:

  • The board position is a four-year term starting on Jan. 1, 2019, with an orientation period at the end of 2018.
  • CHIME Foundation firm representatives are eligible if they are in a current Premier, Standard or Associate CHIME Foundation firm holding membership for at least one year, and they have been active by participating in such events as CIO Forums, focus groups, College LIVE, surveys, etc.
  • If you meet the above criteria and would like to be a candidate, please submit your nomination along with a brief biographical sketch and a brief statement explaining why you would like to serve on the board and what direction you envision for CHIME using this link on the CHIME website.
