CHIME Opioid Task Force co-chairs will participate in a webinar: Ed Kopetsky and Jim Turnbull, co-chairs of the CHIME Opioid Task Force, will discuss the CIO’s role in battling the opioid crisis in a webinar at noon ET Tuesday (June 26). HealthsystemCIO.com is hosting the webinar. CHIME members who attend may be eligible to earn one CEU for their Certified Healthcare CIO (CHCIO). Task force member will share steps for reducing opioid prescribing: Dave Lehr, CIO at Anne Arundel Health System and a member of the CHIME Opioid Task Force, will conduct a College LIVE session that will highlight the clinical and technical steps Arundel took to reduce opioid prescribing by 50 percent.
