Managing Partner, Cyndi Vely Cahill, of Pursuit Healthcare Advisors is Awarded the CHIME Foundation Industry Leader Award
PHILADELPHIA, PA – October 16, 2015 — Pursuit Healthcare Advisors, LLC (Pursuit) and Futura Mobility are pleased to announce that Cyndi Vely Cahill, PHA Managing Partner was honored with the CHIME Foundation Industry Leader award at the CHIME15 Fall Forum held in Orlando, FL.
The CHIME Foundation Industry Leader award honors an individual who has a proven record of dedication within the healthcare information services industry and has made an outstanding contribution within that space as well as to CHIME and the CHIME Foundation.
“Cyndi has been an active and influential CHIME member,” said Randy McCleese, MBA, MS, FCHIME, LCHIME, CHCIO, chair of the CHIME Foundation board; vice president of information services and CIO, St. Claire Regional Medical Center. “She’s been very involved in the Certified Healthcare CIO program and is a founding member of the Association for Executives in Health Information Applications (AEHIA), a new non-profit group that provides education resources and professional development to chief application officers.”
Cyndi has over 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. As one of the managing partners for Pursuit Healthcare Advisors, Cyndi finds innovative ways to bring her previous experience into making a positive difference in her clients’ outcomes. She has held a number of management and leadership roles with Siemens Healthcare (formerly SMS) in the area of sales, national implementations, and running the International Siemens Medical Solutions Executive Briefing Center. Cyndi was the CIO of Presbyterian Medical Center in Philadelphia, PA and Corporate Financial Applications Manager at a five hospital group in Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, then named Graduate Health System. Preceding her current role, Cyndi was instrumental in the growth of Vitalize Consulting Solutions as part of the executive leadership team. She contributes time and resources to CHIME as a former Board Member and now committee member. Cyndi is a founding advisor of the Association for Executives in Health Information Applications (AEHIA), a new non-profit dedicated to educating, promoting, and serving Chief Application Officers in the healthcare industry.
