As healthcare organizations continue to mature with technology solutions it has become increasingly critical to evaluate each for appropriate levels of security, access, and cost. More and more organizations are looking for an effective path forward to archive the data within these systems. 

In this session, we will explore the assessment of legacy systems and the archival of this critical data. We’ll explore recent survey data from CHIME members to affirm the value of archived data and the features and retention policies that guide it. And we will look at leveraging enterprise content management (ECM) systems as the solution for data archival and the key features that turn archived data into protected, searchable, and shareable content
