CTG Health Solutions Brings Quarter Century Health Technology Expertise to HIMSS15 Conference
Company shares perspectives of its health IT experts & other industry thought leaders
DALLAS, TX – April 8, 2015 – As uncertainty increases in the healthcare industry, many provider organizations find themselves seeking solutions that provide real value and ultimately result in improved outcomes. For those attending the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society’s Annual Conference & Exhibition (HIMSS15) April 12-16 in Chicago, CTG Health Solutions (CTGHS) will offer conversations with health information technology (IT) thought leaders on key industry issues from the company’s inviting ‘oasis’ booth space 1580. As in years past, CTGHS’ booth will offer comfortable seating and refreshments as a place of respite from the hectic pace of HIMSS.
As a full service, industry-leading consultancy, CTGHS offers more than 25 years of providing health IT services and thought leadership in support of healthcare organizations’ most pressing health, financial and operational needs. Key executives from CTGHS, including Ted Reynolds, Carl Ferguson, Linda Lockwood, R.N., M.B.A., Michael Garzone, Gary Mann, and Sharon Reynolds, R.N., B.S.N., S.C.P.M., will be on hand to #TalkHITwithCTG during regular HIMSS exhibit hours. These veteran consulting leaders will share expertise on strategies for managing the transition from a fee-based to value-based market on topics such as:
- Electronic health records (EHRs), including implementation, performance improvement, integration, the imminent migration to ICD-10, and what providers can expect from Meaningful Use Stage 3;
- Population health, including value-based care, accountable care organizations (ACOs), the patient-centered medical home, and care coordination;
- Data and analytics, including data governance, data warehousing, business intelligence, key performance indicators (KPIs), and dashboards; and,
- IT support that keeps it all together, from application management, to help desk service management, and security.
“We look forward to HIMSS each year. In order to remain the ‘trusted advisors’ that our clients expect us to be, we must keep up not only with what is happening today in this rapidly changing environment, but also have an eye on what is coming,” said Ted Reynolds, Senior Vice President, CTG Health Solutions. “We view our time at HIMSS15 as an important opportunity to observe current developments including those changing the future of health IT, and to look for ways that CTGHS can further improve upon and develop new solutions for our clients. We use our booth space as a place for discussions, thought leadership and shared knowledge on the issues facing our clients, and as a place that our attendees can take a break in the midst of the show noise.”
Live National Healthcare Radio Show
As further evidence of its established position at the epicenter of health IT and commitment to thought leadership, CTG Health Solutions will host a nationally syndicated podcast radio show, IntredpidNOW Healthcare, live in their booth. Streaming live broadcasts from its booth on Monday and Tuesday, April 13 and 14, CTGHS has lined up a broad selection of industry advocates and thought leaders for #TalkHITwithCTG to share their unique perspectives on the industry, best practices and HIMSS15.
Industry veteran Joe Lavelle, Editor-in-Chief, Healthcare, will host the interviews. CTGHS’ social media team will “live Tweet” thought leadership messages from the interviewees under the hashtag #TalkHITwithCTG. Recorded interviews will be available online and on iTunes following the show.
Other HIMSS15 Activities
CTGHS will have a large presence at HIMSS15, across a broad spectrum of additional activities including:
