CHIME, Modern Healthcare Custom Media to Partner on Most Wired Awards Publication
ANN ARBOR, MI, April 18, 2018 – The College of Healthcare Information Management Executives (CHIME) and Modern Healthcare Custom Media announced today that CHIME and Modern Healthcare Custom Media have partnered to produce, publish and distribute a special print and electronic supplement to honor the winners of the upcoming 2018 CHIME HealthCare’s Most Wired survey. The collaboration brings together CHIME as the premier professional organization representing healthcare’s top chief information officers and senior healthcare IT executives and Modern Healthcare as the leading source of healthcare news and information.
Working with Modern Healthcare Custom Media, CHIME will recognize the 2018 HealthCare’s Most Wired winners and offer related articles in a special print edition and an electronic publication that will be housed and be publicly available on the CHIME and Modern Healthcare websites. The print publication will be distributed to attendees at the 2018 CHIME Fall CIO Forum, which will be held Oct. 30-Nov. 2 in San Diego, and to the more than 70,000 subscribers of Modern Healthcare.
CHIME will also hold a celebration during CHIME18 to acknowledge the CEOs and healthcare IT leaders whose organizations are CHIME HealthCare’s Most Wired winners.
“CHIME has had a great relationship with Modern Healthcare for many years,” said CHIME President and CEO Russell Branzell. “When we started looking for a media partner for the Most Wired program, Modern Healthcare was the logical choice. This partnership will allow CHIME to share best-in-class practices with not just the IT community, but healthcare executive leaders across the industry.”
Modern Healthcare Publisher and Vice President Fawn Lopez said Modern Healthcare Custom Media was pleased to continue the long tradition of honoring Most Wired winners in a prominent publication. “It is important to recognize achievements like winning a Most Wired award,” she said. “Those hospitals and health systems that meet or exceed the survey’s high standards will serve as models for their peers. We commend CHIME for making sure they get the recognition they deserve.”
CHIME took over the HealthCare’s Most Wired program from the American Hospital Association in 2017 and opened this year’s survey on March 29. Healthcare systems and hospitals that want to participate in the 2018 CHIME HealthCare’s Most Wired survey but have not received an invitation and log-in instructions can contact CHIME at [email protected]. The survey will close on May 31. To learn more about the CHIME HealthCare’s Most Wired program, visit chimecentral.org/chime-most-wired.
