Latest Healthcare Collaboration Will Apply Patient-Level Predictive Analytics To Impact Patient Suffering
Mayo Clinic & Atlanta-based Jvion are collaborating to impact patient suffering through applied patient-level predictive analytics
Atlanta, GA – March 26, 2015 — Jvion, the Atlanta-based leader in clinical predictive algorithms, and Mayo Clinic are collaborating to stop patient suffering and unanticipated deterioration using the Jvion’s award winning predictive solution suite. As part of this collaboration, the two organizations will jointly publish their findings in the forthcoming study “Derivation and Validation of Acute Physiologic Deterioration Model using Electronically Available Data.”
Dr. Jeanne M. Huddleston is the lead investigator for Mayo Clinic. She is working directly with the Jvion team to apply the predictive model. The two organizations are well into the planning phase of the project with initial data sharing and model tuning planned in the coming weeks. Results will be published jointly within established industry outlets and journals.
“This collaboration with Mayo Clinic is an important step in the evolution of predictive analytics within healthcare,” said Jvion CEO Shantanu Nigam. “By positively impacting the health and lives of individual patients, we will help bring predictive analytics to the forefront of the industry. Advanced predictive capabilities—like the ones we are using as part of this project—are critical to fostering prevention over treatment and efficiency over waste.”
