Stacy Melvin joins The Chartis Group as a leader in the Digital Health & Business Strategy domain
CHICAGO, IL – July 21, 2015 –– The Chartis Group is pleased to announce that Stacy Melvin has joined the firm as a director and a leader in its Digital Health and Business Strategy domain. She will focus on integrated information technology (IT) and business strategy for healthcare providers, ACOs and Integrated Delivery Networks. Additionally, her work will center on IT innovation and its role as a strategic differentiator in care delivery and relationship management across the continuum.
Nationally recognized as a leading consultant in the healthcare industry with her depth of expertise in healthcare IT strategic planning, operations design, and patient access, Ms. Melvin is highly regarded for the successful management and oversight of large complex and capital intensive initiatives at some of today’s leading healthcare organizations. During her 20 years in the industry, she has served as a strategic advisor to more than 75 provider organizations, including leading academic medical centers, integrated health systems, children’s hospitals, and ambulatory care and physician organizations.

Prior to joining The Chartis Group, Ms. Melvin served as the Healthcare IT practice leader for Kurt Salmon. She has also held roles in hospital administration for several large health systems and major teaching hospitals. Ms. Melvin received her Master of Healthcare Administration and Bachelor of Arts with honors and distinction from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
